Barrick Gold Corporation needed a new steel warehouse building for their new gold mine in Pueblo Viejo, Dominican Republic. The scope of work included all design, fabrication, overseas shipping, site development and erection.

Affordable Structures worked closely with Barrrick’s Executive Management, Fluor Constuctors (Construction Manager) and the entire PVDC operations staff to develop a solution that met all of their expectations for quality, durability, aesthetics and cost effectiveness and speed of installation. The local mine staff was so impressed with Affordable Structures performance they recommended our company for several future phases of the project.
